Pavliuk: High-profile arrests of bribe-takers from TCR carried out on direct initiative of Land Forces Command
High-profile detentions of lawbreakers among the leaders and employees of the TCR take place on the direct initiative and full assistance of the Land Forces Command at all stages.
This was stated by the Commander of the Land Forces Oleksandr Pavliuk on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
He said that in recent months, the Command has established close cooperation with law enforcement agencies to more effectively expose the facts of providing or receiving undue benefits in the mobilization system.
"Zero tolerance to corruption is the only thing we can offer to eradicate abuses in the recruitment system. We are stepping up our efforts to punish all those involved and cleanse our ranks of the scoundrels," Pavliuk said.
As previously reported, dozens of criminal cases have already been opened in Ukraine regarding abuses and corruption in territorial recruitment centers.
For example, on October 24, law enforcement officers exposed the head of the Ternopil district TCR, who demanded fuel coupons for a deferral from mobilization.
On the same day in Kyiv, law enforcement officers exposed a scheme in the Holosiivskyi district TCR: the offenders sold "white tickets" to men, with a price ranging from $2,000 to $15,000. The suspects were found to be in possession of over $1 million in cash.
