Two men who tried to burn relay cabinet in Zhytomyr region detained - SSU
Law enforcers detained enemy accomplices who tried to set fire to relay cabinets of Ukrzaliznytsia in the Zhytomyr region on the order of ruscists.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the SSU press service.
The defendants acted on the order of the Russian special services in exchange for the promise of "easy money". However, after committing the crimes, none of the defendants received the money.
In the Zhytomyr region, two men who tried to burn down a relay cabinet that regulates train traffic on a strategically important Ukrzaliznytsia line were detained. The men were a 27-year-old drug addict and a 38-year-old repeat offender with a criminal record for cold-arms possession of and causing intentional grievous bodily harm.
The defendants acted in "tandem": one of them set fire to the railroad equipment, and the other recorded the fire on camera to "report" to the Russian supervisor.
The offenders were served a notice of suspicion (in accordance with the crimes committed) under the following articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- p. 2 Art. 28, Part 2 Art. 113 (sabotage committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons under martial law);
p. 2 Art. 194 (intentional destruction or damage to property).
