Cabinet of Ministers dismisses Umerov’s deputy Dzhyhyr

Кабмін звільнив Джигира з посади заступника міністра оборони

The government has dismissed Yurii Dzhyhyr from the post of Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine.

This was announced by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Rada Taras Melnychuk, Censor.NET reports.

Yurii Dzhyhyr was appointed to the post of Deputy Minister of Defence in September 2023.

At the time, Minister Rustem Umerov said that over the past 3 years, Dzhyhyr had been advising the World Bank on the financial aspects of healthcare reforms.

In 2018-2020, he worked as Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine. He has more than 20 years of economic experience in supporting reforms, social policy and fiscal decentralisation in Ukraine, the Eastern Balkans and Central Asia, the Defence Minister said.
