General Staff: 157 combat engagements took place in frontline, most of them in Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions
As of 10 p.m., 157 combat engagements took place in the frontline since the beginning of the day. The largest number of battles took place in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian invaders launched one missile (1 rocket) and 42 air strikes (69 GABs) on the territory of Ukraine. In addition, 689 kamikaze drones were used and more than 3,800 attacks were made on the positions of our troops and settlements.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried to storm our positions near Vovchansk and Vysoka Yaruha. Seven attacks were repelled by the defense forces, and two firefights are ongoing. The enemy's losses in the direction amounted to 68 servicemen killed and wounded, two vehicles, 13 UAVs and a unit of enemy special equipment were destroyed; two nuclear weapons and two units of special equipment were also damaged.
Kupiansk direction: the enemy conducted offensive actions near Kolisnykivka, Kopanky and Nadiia. Fourteen battles were completed, one is still ongoing.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders stormed the positions of the Defense Forces 16 times near Novoiehorivka, Makiivka, Terny and Torske. Ukrainian defenders stopped all enemy attacks.
Siversk direction: the enemy stormed our positions once near Verkhnokamianske.
In the Toretsk direction, with the support of bombardment aviation, the enemy carried out nine assault operations. The invaders stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops near Toretsk, Dнliivka and Shcherbynivka. Eight of the aggressor's attacks were repelled, and the battle in the vicinity of Toretsk is ongoing.
Pokrovsk direction: since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked 35 times in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Petrivka and Pustynka. Ukrainian troops repelled 34 attacks, one combat engagement is still ongoing. According to the available data, the enemy's losses amounted to 373 servicemen killed and wounded; 12 armored combat vehicles, two tanks, nine vehicles, two artillery systems, an antitank missile systems and an electronic warfare system were destroyed by Ukrainian troops; our soldiers also damaged an occupier's vehicle.
In the Kurakhove direction, the invaders attacked 34 times near Berestky, Novoselydivka, Voznesenka, Novodmytrivka, Maksymilianivka, Dalne and Antonivka. 14 attacks of the occupiers have already been repelled, the fighting continues.
In the Vremivka direction, fighting continues near Trudove, Rivnopil and Novodarivka, the situation is under control.
The situation in other directions
In the Prydniprvske direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces stopped five attempts by the occupiers to attack our positions.
In the Kursk region, our defenders repelled 21 enemy attacks, and three combat engagements are ongoing.
The situation in other directions remains unchanged.
