For a thousand days, we have been fighting an aggressor who wants us to simply disappear. For a thousand days we have been defending our European home. We are fighting for our families, our friends, our colleagues, our neighbours. For Kyiv and Kharkiv, Lviv and Odesa, Mariupol and Chernihiv, Simferopol and Luhansk, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia. The main thing is that we are fighting for the future of our children, the appeal says, Censor.NET reports.
The Ukrainian army will never betray your faith. Because it is our national army - everyone has friends or relatives serving in the army. We have one pain for the whole country, one heart and one soul. Every victory and defeat we share is common. Every joy and anxiety is shared by all. Everyone who reads this should know: Ukraine's defence forces are stronger than ever and united in the goal of destroying the occupiers. A thousand days of our resilience have proved this once again.
We won the battles for Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv and Odesa. We conducted a brilliant counter-offensive in Kharkiv region and an equally successful counter-offensive in Kherson region. In the end, the Armed Forces of Ukraine brought the war back to Russian territory. They made the impossible possible - something no one believed in.
My brothers and sisters, today each of us must say: "I am here, I am continuing the battle and supporting the army, I am going forward and striving for victory despite everything."
The Russian-Ukrainian war is not a sprint, it is a marathon. We have steadfastly overcome the first thousand days of the large-scale invasion. Many superhuman challenges lie behind us.
However, the winner will be the one who lasts a day longer than the enemy. So it is time to act together again. Just like a thousand days ago. Just like ten years ago, when the Russian-Ukrainian war began.
