Number of DPRK troops in Russia may increase to 100 thousand, - Zelenskyy
Currently, the number of North Korean troops on the territory of the Russian Federation has reached 11,000 and may increase to 100,000.
According to Censor.NET, citing Reuters, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an online address to the European Parliament.
"Putin has now brought 11 thousand North Korean soldiers to the borders of Ukraine. This contingent could grow to 100,000 people," the statement said.
Kyiv and its Western allies also claim that North Korea is supplying Russia with weapons and troops to support its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The day before, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said that about 11,000 North Korean troops had already arrived in the Kursk region of Russia.
