Zelenskyy announces "cultural Ramstein" for Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced a "cultural Ramstein" for Ukraine, which is planned to be implemented next year.
According to Censor.NET, the president said this during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada.
"We held a series of meetings with various Ukrainian figures. At one meeting, a format was proposed that could be very productive for updating Ukrainian cultural policy. In fact, it was proposed to gather a large cultural coalition on a regular basis. All those who have a vision of cultural policy in Ukraine... We will definitely implement this format. We are implementing the format of a cultural Ramstein for Ukraine," the president said.
He noted that Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications Mykola Tochytskyi will present the details of this format, which is planned to be implemented next year.
Also, according to the President, it is necessary to develop a calendar of events for Ukrainian culture in all regions of the world for the whole year so that the state can purposefully and systematically support Ukrainian content and Ukrainian cultural products.
"We need cultural diplomacy, active promotion of our Ukrainian narratives through cultural art projects abroad. We need to build long-term professional ties," the Head of State said.
He noted that it is necessary to actually systematically promote the creation of Ukrainian studies departments in world universities.
"The next step is to create modern cultural spaces and modern cultural viewing opportunities, to update the cultural infrastructure. Protection, search, and return of our Ukrainian culture and historical heritage. Collecting evidence of crimes against cultural heritage and ensuring Russia's responsibility. Preserving existing museum collections and developing the infrastructure of contemporary art. And most precisely, the purposeful and systematic creation of our Ukrainian content, content that can completely replace Russian content. This is an investment in creating a Ukrainian cultural product for different social groups of different ages, primarily for our children. And this is a question of sustainability. This is a question of our security now and then. We must outplay Russia in this," Zelenskyy added.
