Most EU countries support continuation of aid to Ukraine - Borrell

All EU countries, with few exceptions, support the continuation of military aid to Ukraine.
This was stated on Tuesday in Brussels at a press conference following the EU Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs (Defense) by EU High Representative Josep Borrell, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"I can tell you that today the defense ministers, as yesterday and the foreign ministers, overwhelmingly, probably with a few exceptions, have demonstrated their determination to continue to support Ukraine. That is what I can tell you. Yes, and this is not a secret, there are a couple of member states that are not very enthusiastic about the idea of continuing military support for Ukraine. But their contribution to the overall effort is not that important from a quantitative point of view. Others, in particular France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Italy, have demonstrated strong commitments today to continue supporting Ukraine," Borrell said.
He added that the EU is not a side to this war. Member states support Ukraine by providing military capabilities. But there are no European troops in Ukraine, and it is not expected that Russia could face European troops on the battlefield.
"It is important to consider the desire of member states to continue supporting Ukraine. Of course, we have different scenarios, with different presidents in the White House, who seem to have ideas on how to end this war," the EU official emphasized.
