Russian Ministry of Defence announces alleged downing of 44 Ukrainian drones over 9 Russian regions
The Russian Ministry of Defence claims that on the night of Wednesday, 20 November 2024, Russian air defence allegedly intercepted more than 40 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory.
The message of the hostile Ministry of Defence was quoted by the Russian propaganda news agency RIA-Novosti, Censor.NET reports.
"Last night, air defence destroyed and intercepted 44 Ukrainian drones over 9 Russian regions: 20 over Novgorod region, 5 over Kursk region, 4 over Orel region, 3 over Belgorod, Tula and Tver regions, 2 over Bryansk, Moscow and Smolensk regions," the Russian Defence Ministry claims.
As reported, the 13th arsenal of the GRAU could have been attacked in the Novgorod region of the Russian Federation.
Explosions in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation
Earlier it was reported that on the night of 19 November, the 67th arsenal of the Russian GRAU was hit in Bryansk region, and in Rostov region, local authorities reported a drone attack. Later, the General Staff officially confirmed that an ammunition depot in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation had been hit. Later, it became known that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had attacked a military facility in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation with ATACMS missiles.
