Strike on operational command post in Kursk region: Ukraine could have used five modified Su-24 bombers - Forbes

During the attack on Maryino in Kursk region, the Ukrainian military used 10 Storm Shadow missiles, which may indicate that they were hunting for an extremely important and fortified target.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Forbes.
The publication notes that the British company BAE Systems has specially developed the Bomb Royal Ordnance Augmented Charge Storm Shadow warhead to destroy such strong structures as underground bunkers.
Russian bloggers suggest that Russian and North Korean officers could have directed the operation in the Kursk region from the damaged command post. For this reason, they call the attack by the Defence Forces "the shooting of the defenceless".
Forbes believes that five modified Su-24 bombers, each with two missiles, could have been involved in the Ukrainian Armed Forces operation. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Ukrainian aviation dropped unguided "dumb" bombs on the enemy, but it is safer to hit the enemy with long-range missiles. However, such operations are also dangerous.
"Often, a Ukrainian pilot works on targets when several enemy missiles are already flying at him," explained former Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat.
Earlier, we reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had for the first time attacked military targets in Russia with British Storm Shadow missiles.
