Zhytomyr region completes construction of fortifications on border with Belarus
Zhytomyr region has completed the construction of fortifications on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.
According to Censor.NET, citing Ukrinform, the head of the RMA Vitalii Bunechko said this on television.
I would like to assure you that the border with Belarus is completely secured and we continue to build deeply echeloned defense. We have completely completed the construction of the fortifications. We are now handing them over to the military," said Bunechko.
According to the head of the RMA, all schools in Zhytomyr region are now provided with shelters. Their total number has increased 3.5 times since the beginning of the full-scale war.
Earlier, the State Border Guard Service reported that the most threatened areas of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border were being mined remotely.
