The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund will meet to review the results of the sixth review of the EFF program for Ukraine and decide on the allocation of the next tranche in the coming weeks.

This was stated on Thursday during a briefing in Washington by Julia Kozak, Director of the IMF Communications Department, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

"Regarding the time when the Executive Board will meet, we expect it to take place in the coming weeks," the Fund representative said.

She clarified that the Fund's management will decide on the allocation of the next tranche of up to $1.1 billion to Ukraine. If agreed, this will increase the total amount that Ukraine will receive under the EFF program to $9.8 billion.

In addition, Kozak noted that in 2025 Ukraine could receive another $2.7 billion in several tranches under this agreement.
