Ukraine has right to strike legitimate military targets in Russia - NATO PA resolution

The NATO Parliamentary Assembly supported Ukraine's right to strike at military targets deep inside Russia in self-defence.
This is stated in the document, which was supported during a meeting on 25 November in Montreal, Canada, Censor.NET reports with reference to the UP.
As noted, the resolution was proposed by the Political Committee of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Much of it concerns support for Ukraine and measures to put pressure on Russia.
The resolution calls on Allies to develop a joint strategy on Russia before the next NATO Summit in the Netherlands, focusing on the Alliance's ability to deter and counter threats from Russia, while working to reduce Russia's ability to wage war, including by ensuring full compliance with sanctions.
The same paragraph recognises the right of Ukraine to strike legitimate military targets on the territory of the aggressor country in accordance with the principle of the right to self-defence, as provided for in Article 51 of the UN Charter.
Call for more aid to Ukraine
The document calls for maintaining and increasing military and other support for Ukraine, ensuring timely delivery of weapons and ammunition, "including air defence, long-range precision weapons and multi-role combat aircraft", and using the potential of all NATO's instruments and formats of cooperation with Ukraine.
One of the paragraphs calls for "strengthening political and practical efforts to help Ukraine obtain an invitation to become NATO's 33rd member as soon as possible".
Sanctions pressure on Russia
They also call for increased sanctions pressure on Russia and the DPRK, which is deepening its support for Russia in the war against Ukraine, and "to provide Ukraine with all means, including medium-range missiles, for self-defence and deterrence of future aggression".
In addition, they call for the use of political and economic levers of influence on China to deter it from supporting Russia in the war.
Support for the Victory Plan
The resolution calls for support for Ukraine in achieving the goals of the "peace formula" and "victory plan" and expresses support for the principle of "nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine".
Another point calls for support to ensure that Russian military and officials are held accountable for all crimes committed by the Russian side during the war against Ukraine and the crime of aggression.
