208 combat engagements took place in frontline, enemy maintains highest activity in Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions - General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, as of 10:00 p.m., 208 combat engagements have taken place at the front.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy launched one missile strike using one missile, 31 air strikes using 57 GABs, more than seven hundred strikes by kamikaze drones and fired more than 3,300 times at the positions of our troops and settlements using various types of weapons.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, there were five firefights with Russian invaders. All of them were repelled by Ukrainian troops in the area of Vovchansk. The village of Pytomnyk was hit by an air strike with three guided bombs.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy tried 17 times to force our units out of their positions near Hryhorivka, Zelenyi Hai, Zahryzove, Senkove, Kolisnykivka, Synkivka and Andriivka. The enemy dropped one guided aerial bomb on Kurylivka.
Hostilities in Donbas
The enemy attacked twenty-one times in the Lyman sector, trying to advance in the directions of Hrekivka, Druzhkivka, Cherneshchyna, Makiivka, Terny and Torske. In addition, the settlements of Ivanivka, Lyman, and Zarichne were attacked by nine GABs.
In the Siversk direction, the occupiers attacked in the area of Hryhorivka, but were unsuccessful. At the same time, the enemy launched an air strike with a guided bomb on Sloviansk.
The areas around Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Bila Hora, Predtechyne and Diliivka were attacked by the enemy 13 times in the Kramatorsk sector. The situation in the sector is under control, the Defense Forces are steadfastly holding their positions.
The enemy tried to break into our defense in the Toretsk direction six times. The occupiers acted in the vicinity of Dyliivka, Shcherbynivka and Toretsk, all attacks were repelled, the enemy was not successful. Toretsk, Katerynivka and Kramatorsk were attacked from the air, the enemy dropped six guided bombs in total.
The enemy is intensifying attacks on Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk direction. During the day, the aggressor carried out 32 assault and offensive actions there. Russian invaders are most active in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Krasnyi Yar, Lysivka and Chumatske. In total, 29 attacks in the area have already been repelled by Ukrainian defenders, and three more combat engagements in the areas of Pustynka and Novyi Trud are ongoing. According to the information currently available, the aggressor's losses in this direction amounted to 169 people killed and 219 wounded. A car and a motorcycle were destroyed. In addition, one more vehicle and three IFVs were severely damaged.
In the Kurakhove direction, there are 39 combat engagements as of this time of day. The invaders remain highly active, trying to advance in the areas of Dachne, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove, Dalne, Katerynivka, Yelizavetivka, Hanivka and Antonivka. Ukrainian Defense Forces units repelled 26 enemy attacks, 13 attacks in the areas of Berestky, Zoria and Sontsivka are still ongoing. Over the last day, the enemy lost 90 people in killed and wounded in this direction. Two IFVs and one ATV were destroyed. Three IFVs, one cannon and one vehicle were damaged.
In the Vremivka direction, our troops stopped 12 occupants' attacks in the areas of Trudove, Kostiantynopolske, Rozdilne, Novoandriivka and Rivnopil. Four more combat engagements in the area of Veselyi Hai are still ongoing.
The situation in other directions
The enemy did not conduct active operations in the Huliaipole direction.
In the Orikhiv direction, the invaders actively used aviation in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Temyrivka and Pavlivka, dropping a total of ten guided aerial bombs.
In the Prydniprovske direction, our soldiers repelled the attacks of the Russian invaders five times. The enemy was not successful.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their operation in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The enemy aircraft strikes with guided aerial bombs on the territory of Russia. At present, there are 11 air strikes involving 17 GABs and 196 artillery attacks, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other directions.
