Poet and prose writer Myroslav Herasymovych died in battle for Ukraine
Ukrainian poet, novelist and screenwriter Myroslav Herasymovych was killed in the Russian-Ukrainian war in Avdiivka, Donetsk region.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by his brother Taras Kulyk on Facebook.
"My brother, Myroslav KULYK, gave his life in a battle with Russia in the city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region, on 25.11.2024," the brother of the deceased wrote.
On 29.11.1967 he was born in the city of Lutsk.
He added that the poet would have turned 57 on November 29.
Myroslav Herasymovych (Kulyk) was born in Lutsk on November 29, 1967. He was a poet, prose writer, screenwriter, and musician. He graduated from the Faculty of Journalism at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
