Russia has "right to self-defense" against Ukraine to make West "pay" - Kim Jong-un

During a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said that Ukraine's use of long-range weapons is allegedly the result of direct military intervention by the United States, and therefore Moscow has the right to self-defense against "hostile forces."
According to Censor.NET, Reuters reported this with reference to the North Korean state media.
According to the North Korean dictator, the United States and the West "forced" Ukraine to attack Russia's territory with its own long-range weapons, and therefore Russia "must take measures to make the enemy forces pay for it."
"The government, army, and people of the DPRK will invariably support the policy of the Russian Federation to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity from the imperialists' desire for hegemony," Kim Jong-un said.
In addition, during his meeting with Belousov, Kim Jong-un also promised to expand ties with Russia in all spheres, including the military, as part of the comprehensive strategic partnership he had previously signed with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
At the same time, North Korean media did not specify whether Kim Jong-un and Belousov discussed the deployment of DPRK troops in Russia.
Authorization for strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation
The current US President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to launch long-range ATACMS missiles at Russian territory.
CNN noted that Biden's authorization to fire long-range missiles at Russia would complicateTrump's plans for a truce.
Axios writes that Biden's lifting of restrictions on long-range strikes applies only to the Kursk region of Russia.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Ukraine's use of long-range ATACMS missiles to attack Russian territory would mean "direct participation of the United States and its satellites in hostilities against Russia."
On November 19, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that the United States had authorized Ukraine to strike Russian territory with ATACMS ballistic missiles. However, he refused to confirm or deny the attack on the Bryansk region of Russia.
