Zelenskyy awarded title of Hero of Ukraine to six more soldiers, four of them posthumously
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine with the Order of the Golden Star to six servicemen, four of them posthumously.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in Presidential Decrees No. 819- No. 824/2024.
As noted, the titles were awarded "For personal courage and heroism displayed in the defense of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless service to the Ukrainian people."
Thus, he was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine:
- Junior Sergeant Serhii Myroniuk (posthumously) - Decree No. 819/2024
- Junior Sergeant Ivan Holubka (posthumously) - Decree No. 820/2024
- Senior Soldier Danylo Buriak (posthumously) - Decree No. 821/2024
- Junior Sergeant Oleh Andriichuk (posthumously) - Decree No. 823/2024
- Junior Sergeant Yanosh Balla - Decree No. 822/2024
- Lieutenant Andrii Skibin - Decree No. 824/2024
As a reminder, Censor.NET reported today that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine (posthumously) to Oleksandr Tsebrii, the former mayor of Uman, commander of a machine gun platoon of the 58th SMIB, who died in a battle against the occupiers on July 24, 2024.
