Air Defense Forces shoot down 81 missiles and 80 enemy UAVs, Another 105 drones lost in location - Air Force
From 14:00 on December 12 to 10:00 a.m. on December 13, 2024, the enemy launched a combined air attack on Ukraine with missiles of various types and attack drones.

How Russia attacked Ukraine
As noted, a total of 287 enemy air attack vehicles were detected by the Air Force's radio engineering troops during this period - 94 missiles and 193 UAVs, namely:
- 4 Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" aeroballistic missiles from MiG-31K fighters, launch area - Tambov region
- 2 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, launch area - Bryansk region, TOT of Crimea;
- 1 KN-23 ballistic missile, launch area - Bryansk region;
- 55 Kh-101, Kh-55SM cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers, launch area - Volgograd region
- 24 Kalibr cruise missiles, launch area - Black Sea;
- 7 Iskander-K cruise missiles, launch area - Voronezh and Rostov regions
- 1 Kh-59/Kh-69 guided missile, launch area - airspace over the TOT of Luhansk region;
- 193 attack UAVs of the "Shahed" type and unidentified drones from the districts of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel, Bryansk, and Millerovo - Russia.
It is reported that the air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force, and the Defense Forces of Ukraine. In particular, F-16s were effectively used.
What was shot down
As of 11:30 a.m., the downing was confirmed:
- 80 Kh-101/Kh-55SM/Kalibr/Iskander-K cruise missiles; no;
- 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile;
- 80 attack UAVs of the "Shahed" type and unidentified drones. In addition, 105 enemy drones did not reach their targets due to active counteraction by the Defense Forces (lost in the area), five returned to Russia, and one returned to Belarus.
The Air Force also emphasized that once again, the enemy's missile and drone strike was mainly aimed at Ukraine's energy facilities.
Shelling on December 13, 2024
It is known that the occupiers launched "Kindzhals" towards the western regions of Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that Tu-95MS and MiG-31K took off. Russian occupants attack Ukraine with missiles.
Explosions were heard in several regions.
Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said that the Russians are striking at energy facilities.
In Ukraine, due to a massive Russian missile attack on energy facilities, the scope of electricity consumption restrictions has been increased.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia had inflicted one of the largest strikes on Ukraine's energy sector. The Russians fired 93 missiles at Ukraine. We managed to shoot down 81, thanks in part to F-16s.
