Units of Defence Forces take necessary measures to prevent encirclement near Uspenivka - OSGT "Khortytsia"
Units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces are repelling assaults on the outskirts of Uspenivka, Hannivka Trudove, Romanivka and are countering the capture or encirclement of these settlements by the enemy.
This was reported by the "Khortytsia" Operational and Strategic Grouping of Troops, Censor.NET informs.
It is noted that currently, the Armed Forces units are involved in defensive operations in the relevant section of the frontline.
They are selflessly repelling Russian assaults on the outskirts of Uspenivka, Hannivka, Trudove, Romanivka, taking the necessary measures to counteract their capture or encirclement by the enemy," the statement said.
Currently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are intensifying the actions necessary to defend this and other parts of the frontline.
"Khortytsia" claims that the "emotional interpretation" of information about the operational situation at the front "encourages the enemy to complicate the situation" and is an act in its favour.
"We kindly ask you to use verified information, restrain your emotions and support the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the OSGT added.
As a reminder, on 12 December, DeepState analysts reported that the situation in the area of the "Uspenivka's bag" (near the village of Uspenivka, Kurakhivka community, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region) was continuing to deteriorate. According to them, the units of the Defence Forces may be surrounded.
DeepState accuses the "Donetsk" operational and tactical group of inaction.
They also said that the commander of the "Donetsk" OTG, Oleksandr Lutsenko, had already been dismissed from his post but transferred to another one in the Land Forces Command.
