Pilot of 299th Tactical Aviation Brigade died while performing combat mission - Air Force
On Saturday, 14 December, a young Ukrainian pilot, a pilot of the 299th Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Air Force, was killed while performing a combat mission. He was destroying the occupiers in the hottest areas of the frontline.
This was reported by the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
They noted that the pilots of the tactical aviation of the Air Force work at the limit of their capabilities, using all available foreign-made weapons. The pilots carry out strikes in the face of active enemy opposition, and in order to perform their tasks efficiently, they constantly have to enter the enemy air defense zone and withstand high overloads during dangerous missions.
The Air Force Command did not disclose the name or place of the pilot's death.
"The war is on, support the army, honor those who have given the most for the future of our children! Our Freedom and Independence is given to us at a high price. We need enough means and weapons and more determination from our partners to achieve a just peace in Ukraine," the PS added.
They also added that they would definitely take revenge for every Ukrainian whose heart stopped beating because of Russia's senseless war of aggression.
In late August, it became known that pilot Oleksiy Mes, call sign Moonfish, was killed while repelling a Russian missile attack.
