Rada fails to recall Boiko from position of member of the Human Rights Committee

The Verkhovna Rada failed to recall Yurii Boiko from the position of a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Human Rights, De-occupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine, National Minorities and Interethnic Relations.
This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, Censor.NET reports.
The decision was supported by only 217 MPs.

As a reminder, on 14 December, Boiko posted a pro-Russian statement on social media about "radicals renaming cities and demolishing monuments" and "banning people from speaking their native language".
Resolution to recall Boiko from the Human Rights Committee after his pro-Russian statement was submitted to the Rada.
On 17 December, Boiko came to the SSU for questioning.
After the questioning at the SSU, he posted a new video on social media, in which he decided to "apologise and say that we all should be united".
