In 2025, UK will develop Ukraine’s defense industry, - Healy

In 2025, the UK will develop Ukraine's military industry. London will also help Ukraine in the international arena to ensure that support for Ukrainians continues.
British Defense Secretary John Healey said this in an interview with Suspilne, Censor.NET reports.
Healy said that during a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umierov in Kyiv, they discussed further military cooperation.
"We talked about the most important military equipment needed to fight now and over the next year. These are air defense systems, drones, and the ability to hit Russian military targets from a long distance. We talked about the importance of training, more training and education for Ukrainian soldiers. We talked about developing your military industry together, and we will do that," said Healy.
The British defense secretary also said that London intends to persuade other countries to continue supporting Ukraine.
"The task of your strongest allies, like the UK, is to further strengthen our support, to strengthen our leadership, to help coordinate other international countries to help more. That is why today I have announced further military assistance, maritime drones, air defense, and artillery," said Healy.
The head of the British Ministry of Defense said that London is seeking to put Ukraine in a stronger position.
"We will put you in a stronger position, you and your extraordinary country, fighting Putin and this illegal, brutal invasion of your country," said Healy.
