US imposes sanctions on three Russian companies and number of Russian vessels
Three Russian companies have been added to the US Treasury Department's sanctions list. A number of Russian ships were also blacklisted.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to a statement by the US Treasury Department.
"The U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has updated its sanctions list," the statement said.
Thus, the US Treasury Department's sanctions list has been expanded:
- Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-based Farwater LLC, which is engaged in river cargo transportation;
- Ardal JSC from St. Petersburg, whose main activity is sea freight transportation;
- MTV LLC from Moscow.
The following Russian pipelaying vessel, Akademik Chersky, Russian offshore vessel ARTEMIS OFFSHORE, Russian Maritime Rescue Service, sea tug Finval, Ivan Sidorenko and Fortuna, are also now under sanctions.
