Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine served Kirillov with a notice of suspicion for the massive use of banned chemical weapons against the Defence Forces in eastern and southern Ukraine.
It was also reported that Russian Army General Kirillov stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were preparing a "special operation" with the use of "combat mosquitoes".
On the morning of 17 December, it became known that the head of the RF Armed Forces' radiation, chemical and biological defence of troops, Igor Kirillov, and his assistant were killed in an explosion on Ryazansky Prospekt in Moscow.
