Russian General Kirillov was killed in explosion in Moscow. Yesterday, SSU served him with notice of suspicion

The head of the Russian Armed Forces' radiation, chemical and biological defence troops, Igor Kirillov, and his assistant were killed in an explosion on Ryazansky Prospekt in Moscow.
This was officially confirmed by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Censor.NET reports.
According to the Russian investigation, on the morning of 17 December 2024, an explosive device was detonated on Ryazansky Prospekt in Moscow, planted in a scooter standing next to the entrance of a residential building.
A criminal case has been opened over the liquidation of Kirillov and his assistant, the Russian agency said.
Earlier, Censor.NET reported that an explosion occurred in Moscow: two Russian military personnel were killed.
As a reminder, on 16 December 2024, the Security Service of Ukraine documented war crimes committed by Russian Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, the chief of the radiation, chemical and biological defence troops of the Russian Armed Forces. He has recently been notified of being suspected. It was also reported that General Kirillov had claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were preparing a "special operation" using "combat mosquitoes".
