Germany doubles arms exports to Ukraine in 2024 - Reuters

Compared to 2023, Germany has doubled its arms exports to Ukraine this year. At the same time, the supply of German weapons to Israel has been halved.
This is reported by Reuters with reference to the data of the German Ministry of Economy, Censor.NET informs.
It is noted that in 2024 Ukraine received weapons worth 8.1 billion euros from Germany. In 2023, this figure was almost half as much - 4.4 billion euros.
At the same time, Germany has reduced its arms supplies to Israel. Thus, in 2023, Germany sent Israel weapons worth 326.5 million euros. But this year, the amount was halved to 161 million euros.
Overall, Germany has authorized arms exports worth 13.2 billion euros this year. In addition to Ukraine and Israel, the supply of German weapons worth 1.2 billion euros was approved for Singapore.
Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that Germany would continue to support Ukraine in its fight against full-scale Russian aggression.
