On Wednesday, 18 December, explosions were heard in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation. OSINT analysts said that for the first time since the start of the full-scale war, one of the largest chemical enterprises in the city of Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, the "Kombinat Kamenskiy", which produces rocket fuel, was attacked.

This was reported by OSINT analyst Special Kherson Cat in the social network X, Censor.NET reports.

He drew attention to photographs published on social media showing the wreckage of missiles, allegedly Storm Shadow.

"For the first time in the entire war, Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles targeted the Rostov region of Russia," the analyst wrote.

In addition, the OSINT analysts of the "CyberBoroshno" project identified the location of the likely attack in Russia.

According to them, the missile strikes targeted the production site of the "Kombinat Kamenskiy" in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Rostov Region.

This plant produces rocket fuel and was switched to 12-hour shifts back in 2020.
