SCALP/Storm Shadow missiles flying in "evil empire’s direction" - Air Force. PHOTO

The Air Force has released photos of the combat operation of long-range SCALP/Storm Shadow missiles during an attack on Russian territory.

According to Censor.NET, the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

"There's nothing more beautiful than a Scalp & Storm Shadow missile in the direction of the evil empire! We thank the pilots of the 7th Petro Franko Tactical Aviation Brigade for their successful combat work," the statement said.

The Air Force thanked its partners from France and the United Kingdom for their support of Ukraine.

Strikes on the Rostov region of the Russian Federation

On the evening of December 18, the local acting governor of Rostov Region, Yuri Slyusar, said that at least 10 Storm Shadow missiles were allegedly used to strike the targets.

According to him, the Russian air defence tried to shoot down these missiles using interceptor missiles, the debris of which allegedly fell on the houses.

According to Slyusar, a house in the village of Mala Kamianka caught fire due to falling debris, several other houses were damaged by the debris, and a rocket fragment was found in another yard.

Missile attack reported in Rostov region

Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine could launch another long-range missile strike against the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, where many facilities that could be targeted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces are located.
