Occupiers fired about thousand shells at Kherson during morning attack - RMA

Consequences of the shelling of Kherson on December 20

This morning, December 20, Russian troops fired about a thousand shells at Kherson in about 40 minutes.

According to Censor.NET, citing Ukrinform, the head of the Kherson RMA, Oleksandr Prokudin, said this on television.

"Since five in the morning, in about 40 minutes, about a thousand shells fell on Kherson alone. The enemy purposefully attacked residential buildings, social and critical infrastructure, there were arrivals in all districts of the regional center," said Prokudin.

He also said that the shelling damaged the railway station, more than 30 multi-storey buildings and about 15 private houses, police administrative buildings, educational and medical institutions, many vehicles, garages, and outbuildings. Fires broke out at the impact sites and have been extinguished.

Regarding the wounded, the head of the RMA noted that they were diagnosed with explosive injuries, shrapnel wounds and contusions. One man is in a very serious condition.

To recap, on the morning of December 20, Russian troops carried out a massive artillery shelling of Kherson. Two people were reported dead and nine wounded.
