She accrued more than UAH 700 thousand of combat pay to her subordinates: Financier of military unit in Dnipropetrovsk region to be tried, - SBI
Law enforcement officers completed the pre-trial investigation and sent to court an indictment against the head of the financial and economic service of a military unit, who was stationed in Dnipropetrovsk region at the time of the crime. The official helped her subordinates illegally receive combat payments.
This is reported by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation, Censor.NET informs.
It is noted that the official prepared an order, according to which almost all the personnel of the financial and economic service were sent to the East of Ukraine to perform combat missions as part of one of the operational and tactical groups.
In reality, the financiers and accountants did not go on combat missions, but only received regular payments for this.
Thus, over six months, six employees of the financial and economic service illegally received more than UAH 700,000 in additional payments.
As part of the pre-trial investigation, the losses caused to the state were compensated in full.
The financier is accused of embezzlement of other people's property by abuse of office, under martial law, in a large scale and of making knowingly false official documents (Part 4 of Article 191 and Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The sanction of the article provides for a sentence of up to 8 years' imprisonment.
