186 combat engagements in frontline yesterday, most of them in Kursk and Pokrovsk sectors - General Staff
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 43 assault and offensive actions of Russian invaders. In the Kursk sector, they repelled 46 enemy attacks.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shellings of Ukraine
According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out seven air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping nine guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out more than five thousand shellings, including 188 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used about 2,400 kamikaze drones.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Rozlyv, Komar, Serhiivka in Donetsk region; Zaporizke in Zaporizhzhia region.
Hostilities in the east
In the Kharkiv sector, two hostile attacks took place in the vicinity of Hatyshche and Vovchansk yesterday, both attacks were repelled, the enemy was not successful.
In the Kupyansk sector, seven occupiers' attacks took place over the last day. Defence forces repelled enemy assaults near Petropavlivka, Kucherivka and Lozova.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 27 times. It tried to advance near Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Platonivka, Pershotravneve, Nadiia, Makiivka, Terny, Novoserhiivka, Yampolivka, Ivanivka and Bilohorivka.
In the Siverskyi sector, the enemy made one futile attempt to push our defenders from their positions near Zolotarivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupiers attacked nine times in the area of Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy made six attacks near Shcherbynivka and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 43 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Novyi Trud, Vovkove, Solone, Novoolenivka, Novovasylivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne and Novoielyzavetivka.
Ukrainian defence forces repelled 20 attacks in the Kurakhove sector. The enemy concentrated its main efforts in the areas of Ukrainka, Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove and Dachne.
In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy conducted 20 attacks on our positions near the settlements of Kostiantynopilske, Yantarne, Uspenivka, Kostiantynopil and Pryvilne. He used bomber aircraft to carry out attacks in the area.
Situation in the south and north
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled two Russian attacks.
In the Orikhiv and Huliaipillia sectors, the enemy did not conduct any active operations.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is using artillery from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements and conducting reconnaissance activities.
The operation in the Kursk region continues. Our soldiers repelled 46 enemy attacks in this area over the past day. In addition, the enemy made 266 artillery attacks.
Strikes on the enemy
The Ukrainian Defence Forces are inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
Yesterday, the missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces conducted nine strikes on areas where personnel and weapons were concentrated, as well as one strike on the enemy's fuel and lubricants storage facility.
In total, the Russian invaders suffered 2010 casualties over the last day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralised seven tanks, 22 armoured combat vehicles, 44 artillery systems, 31 operational and tactical UAVs, and 141 units of occupiers' vehicles.
