On New Year’s Eve, enemy attacked Zaporizhzhia region, rescuers saved woman

On the night of December 31 to January 1, Russians attacked peaceful settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia RMA Ivan Fedorov.
He noted that the enemy attacked the region with GABs at 8:20 pm. Also at 11:57 p.m., the enemy hit Stepnohirsk and Huliaipole with GABs, and two civilian houses caught fire.
"All GABs launched at the regional center were shot down. The enemy launched more than 10 shaheds, of which: 5 were shot down over Zaporizhzhia and the region.
Some flew past the city," noted Fedorov.
The head of the region added that there were minimal damages in Zaporizhzhia - a few broken windows in high-rise buildings.
According to the State Emergency Service of Zaporizhzhia region, two fires broke out in Huliaipole within 6 minutes: at 11:57 p.m. and at 00:03 a.m. two residential buildings caught fire.
"Firefighters promptly extinguished the fires, and during one of the fires they rescued an 83-year-old woman by taking her out into the fresh air. The rescued woman did not need medical assistance," the SES said.
