Turkey calls for early ceasefire and peace in Ukraine - Fidan

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan calls for immediate peace in Ukraine and a ceasefire.

He said this at a press conference in Ankara after a meeting with Belgian Foreign Minister Bernard Quentin, Censor.NET reports.

Fidan noted that he and his Belgian counterpart discussed regional issues, including the situation in Ukraine.

We certainly want an immediate ceasefire and peace in Ukraine. This war, which is taking place in the 21st century in the center of Europe, must end as soon as possible," he emphasized.

The Turkish Foreign Minister added that the crises caused by this war, including migration, economic and other crises, must stop.
