Icelandic Foreign Minister Gunnarsdottir arrives in Ukraine

On Tuesday, January 7, the newly appointed head of the Icelandic Foreign Ministry, Thorgerdur Katrin Gunnarsdottir, arrived in Kyiv.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha discussed with the head of the Icelandic Foreign Ministry further support for the Ukrainian "peace formula" and assistance in prosthetics for the Ukrainian military.
"We are grateful to Iceland for its recent contribution of more than EUR 2 million to the production of Ukrainian weapons based on the Danish model. We look forward to further increase of investments in the Ukrainian defense industry by the Icelandic side," emphasized Sybiha.
Gunnarsdóttir, in turn, stated Iceland's readiness to continue supporting Ukraine.
In particular, it is about further financing of the humanitarian initiative "Grain from Ukraine", under which Ukrainian food is supplied to Syria, among other places.
