Zelenskyy signs law on creating list of terrorist organizations

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a law on the formation and introduction of a list of terrorist organizations and groups.
This is stated in the card of the law No. 4156-X on the website of the Verkhovna Rada, Censor.NET reports.
How will the law work?
This list will include organizations that carry out terrorist activities on the territory of Ukraine and/or abroad and pose a threat to national security.
The law establishes the responsibilities of the Security Service of Ukraine for the formation and maintenance of the list.
The relevant law was supplemented with a provision that in order to ensure the national security of Ukraine and prevent, detect and suppress terrorist activities, a list of terrorist organizations (groups) is formed and maintained. The procedure for forming and maintaining the list is determined by the SSU.
The inclusion of a terrorist organization (group) in the list is based on threats to the national security of Ukraine and is carried out on the basis of
- information generated by international organizations of which Ukraine is a member;
- detection of the fact of existence of terrorist organizations (groups) or connection with terrorist organizations (groups) or terrorists
The inclusion/exclusion of an organization (group) to/from the List is carried out by the Anti-Terrorist Center of the Security Service of Ukraine within 3 or 15 working days based on the conclusion of the Anti-Terrorist Center of the Security Service of Ukraine, agreed with the concerned state authorities and intelligence agencies of Ukraine.
The list of organizations will be compiled publicly. The relevant information will be published on the official website of the Security Service of Ukraine and on the Unified State Open Data Portal.
Actions or omissions to include/exclude an organization (group) from the list may be appealed in court.
