41 assaults were stopped in Pokrovsk direction, enemy attacked many times near Kurakhove and in Kursk region - General Staff

Strikes on the territory of Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 45 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropped 93 drones, and used 2021 kamikaze drones to destroy them. The enemy also carried out about five thousand artillery attacks, including 139 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The enemy carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Serebrianka, Verkhnekamianske, Diliivka, Toretsk, Katerynivka, Petrivka, Pokrovsk, Stepove, Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region.
Attacks on the enemy
Over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck eight areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment and the control center of the Russian invaders' UAVs.
It is also recalled that in total, the losses of Russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1660 people. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized 4 tanks, 16 armored combat vehicles, 19 artillery systems, 19 operational and tactical UAVs, and 81 occupant vehicles.
The Situation in the Kharkiv region
As noted, in the Kharkiv sector, the enemy tried to advance four times in the area of Vovchansk and Tykhy in vain.
Three hostile attacks took place in the Kupiansk sector over the past day. Ukrainian defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Topoly, Holubivka, and Petropavlivka.
The situation in the East
According to the General Staff, the enemy attacked 14 times in the Liman sector. He tried to advance near Novosergiyivka, Nadiya, Pershotravneve, Cherneshchyna, Makiivka, Zarichne, Terny, and Ivanivka.
In the Siversky sector, our troops repelled seven enemy attacks in the vicinity of Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy launched seven attacks on the positions of our troops near the settlements of Vasiukivka, Bondarne, Chasiv Yar, Stupochki, and Bila Hora.
It is also noted that the enemy attacked Toretsk nine times in the Toretsk sector yesterday, in some cases with the support of aviation.
"In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 41 aggressor's attacks in the areas of Tarasivka, Vodiane Druhe, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Zelene, Novyi Trud, Pokrovsk, Kotlynne, Novovasylivka, and Nadiivka.
The defense forces repelled 25 attacks on the positions of our troops over the past day in the Kurakhove sector near Sribne, Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Andriivka, Kurakhove and Dachne," the statement said.
The situation in the South
The General Staff also informs that in the Vremivsk sector, the enemy made 21 assaults on our positions in the areas of Yantarne, Kostyantynopolske, Uspenivka, Kostyantynopil, Novosilka, and Pryvilne. In addition, the enemy actively used attack and bombing aircraft against settlements and positions of our troops.
In the Prydniprovske sector, the Defense Forces successfully repelled two enemy attacks.
The enemy did not conduct any active operations in the Orikhivske and Huliaypillia directions yesterday.
The situation in the North
No signs of enemy offensive groups forming in the Volyn and Polissia directions were detected.
"The operation in the Kursk region is ongoing, 32 combat engagements took place yesterday, enemy artillery fired 146 times at settlements and positions of our troops, including six times from multiple launch rocket systems," the General Staff emphasizes.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
