Law enforcement officers detained an employee of a territorial recruitment and social support centre in Sumy region who organised a bribery scheme to facilitate the evasion of men liable for military service from mobilization.

This was reported by the police of the Sumy region, Censor.NET informs.

It is noted that the woman offered her services for solving the issue of evading mobilization for a monetary reward. The cost of such a 'service' was 3000 USD.

Law enforcement officers documented the bribe transfer and detained the offender on receiving the money.

The police investigators have now served the official a notice of suspicion under Part 5 of Article 27 and Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (aiding and abetting a crime and obtaining an unlawful benefit by an official). The investigation is ongoing.
