Gas reserves in Transnistria will last for another 24 days

The authorities of unrecognized Transnistria have stated that gas reserves should be enough for another 24 days.

This was stated by the "minister" of economic development Sergey Obolonik, Censor.NET reports.

Daily consumption in the conditions of economy is 270 thousand cubic meters.

Previously, it was expected that gas would last only until January 20 in the south of Transnistria, and until January 10 in the northern regions.

As a reminder, at 07:00 on January 1, 2025, the transportation of Russian natural gas through Ukraine was suspended in the interests of national security.

Earlier, after talks with Gazprom, Moldovan Energy Minister Victor Parlicov warned of the threat of collapse on the left bank of the Dniester (Transnistria) due to uncertainty over gas transit through Ukraine.
