111 combat engagements took place in frontline, enemy attacks mostly in Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions - General Staff

Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., 111 combat engagements took place in the frontline. The situation is characterized by the enemy's particular activity in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions.

The situation in the north

During the day, a number of settlements near the border with Russia suffered from enemy attacks. Thus, settlements in Sumy and Chernihiv regions, such as Osoivka, Ponomarenky, Tymonovychi, Velyka Pysarivka, Huta-Studenetska and Khodyne, came under artillery fire.

Hostilities in the Kharkiv region

Today, in the Kharkiv direction, Russian occupants stormed the defensive lines of Ukrainian troops four times. Combat continues in the area of Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy actively attacked the positions of our units eight times in the areas of Holubivka, Zahryzove and in the direction of Petropavlivka. Six enemy attacks are still ongoing.

Hostilities in Donbas

Today, in the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked Ukrainian positions near Nadiia, Kopanky, Novoehorivka, Ivanivka and Terny nine times. Six combat engagements ended, and three are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy made two attempts to attack the positions of our units near Bilohorivka during the day, but the attacks were repelled by Ukrainian troops.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders carried out air strikes on Vasiukivka, Pryvillia, Markove and Nykyforivka, dropping seven GABs.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy concentrated its offensive efforts in the areas of Toretsk and Dyliivka, where five combat engagements took place, and a battle is currently underway.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupants have already made 26 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near the settlements of Myroliubivka, Baranivka, Yelizavetivka, Lysivka, Zelene, Zvirove, Novyi Trud, Kotlyne and Nadiivka. The defense forces are holding back the attack, having repelled 21 enemy attacks so far, and five combat engagements are ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified.

Fighting continues near Dachne, Kurakhove, Shevchenko, Petropavlivka, Slovianka and Yasenove in the Kurakhove direction. According to the updated information, 18 out of 25 attacks of the occupation army have been repelled so far. Fierce fighting continues.

In the Vremivka direction, the enemy made ten attempts to storm the positions of our units near Novosilka, Kostiantynopolske, Yantarne and in the direction of Kostiantynopol. Two combat engagements are currently ongoing.
