166 combat engagements took place in frontline, most of them in Pokrovsk and Lyman directions - General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., 166 combat engagements have taken place at the front.

The situation in the north
Border settlements continue to suffer from shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation, in particular, Oleksandrivka, Stara Huta, Esman in Sumy region; Lemishchyno, Tymofiivka in Kharkiv region; Leonivka in Chernihiv region.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
Near the towns of Vovchansk and Starytsia in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy tried to break through the defensive lines of our defenders five times since the beginning of the day.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out eight assault actions near Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Zahryzove and Lozova. One combat engagement ended, seven more are still ongoing.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked 32 times near the settlements of Tverdokhlibove, Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hai, Pershotravneve, Makiivka, Terny and Zarichne. Nine enemy attacks remained incomplete.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked our troops' positions twice near Bilohorivka.
The defense forces repelled 22 Russian attacks near Bila Hora, Predtechyne, Chasiv Yar and Stupochky in the Kramatorsk direction. Nine enemy attacks remained incomplete.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked four times near the settlements of Toretsk. Two more combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 49 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near Novopoltavka, Myroliubivka, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Myrnohrad, Novyi Trud, Zvirove, Udachne, Kotlyne, Novooleksandrivka, Novovasylivka, Novoandriivka, Novoielyzavetivka, Andriivka, Kurakhove and Yantarne. The defense forces are holding back the enemy's offensive and repelled 30 attacks, 19 firefights are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the occupiers attacked the positions of our troops 11 times near Kostiantynopil, Zelenivka, Rozlyv, Rozdolne, Velyka Novosilka and Neskuchne, three firefights are still ongoing.
The situation in the south
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy launched an air strike with free-flight rockets near the village of Piatikhatky.
The enemy did not conduct any active operations in the Huliaipole and Prydniprovske directions since the beginning of the day.
Ukrainian Armed Forces Operation in the Kursk Region of the RF
In the operational zone in Kursk region, Ukrainian Defense Forces units repelled 10 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day, and eight more attacks are ongoing. The enemy made over 160 attacks, 14 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
