Drones attacked Smolensk Aviation Plant at night - CCD

On the night of 21 January, the Smolensk Aviation Plant was attacked.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defence Council, Andrii Kovalenko
It is noted that the plant produces and modernises military aircraft, including Su-25 attack aircraft.
"The plant also provides overhaul and maintenance of aircraft, which allows the Russian Federation to maintain the combat capability of outdated aircraft models," Kovalenko said.
In addition, the plant is closely linked to other Russian defence companies, supplying components or participating in cooperation to create modern aircraft systems.
"Every strike on such a plant will destroy Russia's ability to maintain its own aircraft in a combat-ready state," Kovalenko added.
As a reminder, explosions were heard in the Smolensk region at night and air defence forces were operating.
