New Trump presidency is seen as positive for Ukraine by most Ukrainians – poll

More than half of Ukrainians (54%) consider the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States a positive development for Ukraine.
This is evidenced by the results of a KIIS poll, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, the most common answer was "more good than bad", which was chosen by 37.5% of respondents. Another 11.3% rated it as "fairly good," and 5.5% - "very good."
On the other hand, 3.2% of Ukrainians perceive Trump's return as "fairly bad," and 2.9% as "very bad." A significant number of respondents (23.2%) were undecided, and 2% refused to answer.
According to the KIIS data, optimism about the new Trump presidency is most prevalent among young people under the age of 29, where 64% of respondents are positive.
Regionally, the best attitude toward Trump was recorded in western Ukraine, where 54.6% said they considered his election positive. In the east of the country, on the contrary, the level of optimism is lower: only 35.6% gave a positive assessment, and 42.8% of respondents said they found it difficult to answer.
