72 Russian attacks stopped in Pokrovsk direction. Enemy tried to advance in Lyman direction - General Staff. MAP
On January 29, 2025, 158 combat clashes between Ukrainian defenders and Russian invaders were recorded.
This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
Russian strikes on Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 43 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping 96 drones and using 2,120 kamikaze drones. In addition, it carried out more than five thousand three hundred attacks, 90 of which were from MLRS.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Basivka, Veselivka, Novomykolaivka, Mala Korchakivka, Vysoka Yaruha, Kostiantynivka, Bilytske, Odradne, Novopavlivka, and Zaporizke.
Ukrainian Armed Forces strike at occupants
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit ten areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, one air defense facility, as well as two other important objects of the Russian invaders.
Situation in the Kharkiv region
According to the updated information, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Kharkiv sector.
Ten occupants attacks took place in the Kupiansk sector yesterday. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Petropavlivka, Novoosynove, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, and Lozova.
Fighting in the East
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked 26 times. He tried to advance near Novoyehorivka, Kopanky, Makiivka, Novolyubivka, Torske, Yampolivka, and Zelena Dolyna.
In the Siversk sector, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders six times near Verkhnekamianske.
In the Kramatorsk sector, ten firefights were registered in the areas of Novomarkove, Chasiv Yar, and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 15 attacks near Krymske and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 72 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Vodiane Druhe, Yelizavetivka, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Vidrodzhennia, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Kotlyarivka, Andriivka, Dachne and Ulakly.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the militants attacked Ukrainian troops' positions six times near the towns of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv, Rozdolne, and Novoocheretuvate.
The situation in the South
The enemy did not conduct any assault or offensive actions at the Huliaypillia, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovskyi directions, conducting constant shelling of Ukrainian troops' positions and civilian infrastructure using all available types of weapons, actively using attack UAVs.
The Kursk region
In the operational zone in the Kursk region, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled eight attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. In addition, the enemy launched 19 air strikes, using 35 guided bombs, and fired 426 artillery shells at the positions of our troops and settlements, 12 of which were from MLRS.
The situation in the North
No signs of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy from the territory of the Russian Federation is actively using artillery and UAVs in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.
In total, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1270 people over the last day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized four tanks, 17 armored combat vehicles, 17 artillery systems, 54 operational and tactical UAVs, 85 vehicles, and four units of special equipment of the occupiers.
