Bundestag failed to vote on aid to Ukraine, session is adjourned early

Additional support for Ukraine was supposed to be a topic for discussion in the Bundestag, but party disagreements led to the early termination of the German parliament session on the night of Thursday, January 30.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by DW.
The debate on the proposal of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) to allocate an additional three billion euros ended around 00:30 with the parliament losing its quorum: only 320 MPs took part in the voting, while at least 366 are required to make a decision.
The Deputy Speaker of the Bundestag, Katrin Goering-Eckardt of the Union-90/Greens party, closed the meeting early, despite the fact that there were still other issues on the agenda.
As a reminder, the Budget Committee of the German Parliament appealed to Finance Minister Jörg Kukis to approve an additional 3 billion euros in military aid for Ukraine. The request was approved by the parliamentary budget committee with the votes of the opposition conservatives CDU and Free Democrats (FDP), while the Social Democrats (SPD) and the Greens abstained.
