Occupiers have shelled Chernihiv region 551 times since beginning of year, increasingly using drones

Russian troops strike Chernihiv region daily, and are increasingly using Shaheds, Geran and FPV drones.
Viacheslav Chaus, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said this during a telethon, Censor.NET reports.
"The Russian army attacks Chernihiv region every day. Over the past day - 21 attacks. This is 39 arrivals. Increasingly, the Russians are using drones - attack drones, in particular, "Shaheds", "Geran" and FPV drones, "the report says.
According to him, since the beginning of the year, the Russians have carried out 551 attacks. More than 1,500 enemy shells have already struck Chernihiv region.
The head of the RMA also noted that in 2025, Russians killed one civilian and injured 17 others.
"There are people who, despite the shelling, remain living on the border: about 800 people in the 5-km zone, and 15,500 in the 20-km zone," he added.
