Air defense forces destroyed 40 Enemy UAVs out of 55. Another 13 lost in location - Air Force
On the night of February 2, 2025, the Russians attacked with 55 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of imitator drones from the directions of: Kursk, Orel, and Prymorsko-Akhtarsk. The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"As of 09:00 a.m., 40 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been confirmed downed in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Odesa regions," the statement said.
The military notes that 13 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences).
"Kharkiv and Sumy regions suffered as a result of the enemy attack," the Air Force added.
