Russia is sending wounded with unhealed wounds, often on crutches, back to front - British intelligence

Wounded Russians return to front

Russia is massively returning wounded soldiers to the front without waiting for them to fully recover. Moreover, it is forcing them to perform combat missions.

According to Censor.NET, this is stated by a British intelligence report.

It is very likely that wounded Russian soldiers return to combat missions in Ukraine with unhealed wounds, often on crutches. Information from open sources indicates that the 20th Combined Arms Army of Russia has formed assault groups of wounded soldiers who are walking and sent them into battle," the agency noted.

The intelligence agency emphasized that the Russian command could coordinate these actions to save personnel who might otherwise be lost in the overloaded medical system.

"The wounded soldiers were probably returned to their units after being prematurely discharged from frontline medical facilities on the orders of their commanders.

This reduces the burden on the overstretched military medical system and increases the ability of units to track and use wounded soldiers for operational tasks," the review says.

British analysts argue that the lack of proper medical care in facilities far from the front line necessitates the transfer of administrative and medical burdens back to military units.

As a reminder, the Pokrovske direction remains one of the hottest. In January 2025 , our soldiers neutralized more than 15 thousand invaders here.
