Anton Spitsyn, a volunteer, co-founder and commander of the special forces group "Peaky Blinders" of the National Guard of Ukraine, was killed in the fighting for Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Anton's brother, military man Oleksandr Spitsyn.
It is noted that the soldier received injuries incompatible with life.
Oleh Kadanov, a musician and member of the Peaky Blinders, also remembered his fallen comrade.
"We have laughed many times that if it were not for the war, it is even hard to imagine the conditions under which we could have met and become friends... I am grateful to the universe that I had the opportunity to communicate and learn from you!" - he wrote.
Anton Spitsyn defended Ukraine on the first day of the full-scale invasion.
It is worth noting that the "Peaky Blinders" unit is a group of volunteer fighters who defended Kharkiv in February 2022. At first, they fought in civilian clothes, with capture and volunteer weapons.
Later, they became part of the Defence Forces and performed complex tasks on the front line.
The unit's soldiers held the defence of Vovchansk, and in October 2024, they were sent to defend Pokrovsk.
