Russia is already at war against us, its missiles and drones are crossing our borders, - Kallas
The head of the European Union's diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, said that Russia's war against Ukraine is a threat to the European Union. In particular, she noted that Russian missiles and drones have already crossed the borders of EU countries.
Kallas said this in Brussels during a speech at the annual conference of EU diplomats on Monday, February 3, Censor.NET reports.
"The problem is that Russia is fighting against us several hundred kilometers from our borders. Their missiles and drones have already crossed our borders. We have to help put an end to this war," said the EU diplomat.
Kallas emphasized that Ukraine should be a priority for the European Union.
"No matter where in the world you work or how far away you are from Ukraine, it is important that we all understand what Russia's intentions towards Ukraine really are... Ukraine should be our priority," she said.
The top diplomat called for increased military support for Ukraine, and emphasized the importance of imposing sanctions on Russia's allies and blocking its oil and gas revenues.
