Luxury cars worth UAH 3.4 million: property of former head of Kharkiv TCR to be confiscated due to lack of legal income - SBI

The State Bureau of Investigation has found two luxury cars registered in the name of his mother-in-law in the possession of the family of the former head of one of Kharkiv's district TCR.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the press centre of the SBI.
At the beginning of 2024, the State Bureau of Investigation opened criminal proceedings over possible failure to declare property by a former official of the district TCR in Kharkiv and his wife, who is a law enforcement officer.
The investigation revealed that his family used two expensive cars worth more than UAH 3.4 million registered in the name of his mother-in-law. At the same time, it was established that neither the ex-official nor his relatives had official income that would allow them to purchase these cars.
The Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court demanding that these assets be declared unjustified and transferred to state ownership.
